No.8 is one of twelve semi-detached bungalows sited around a heated swimming pool. The bungalows are constructed in Cotswold stone and are beautifully furnished and well heated. No.8 is especially attractive having been the subject recently of a very contemporary makeover which has been achieved with great style.
The location is handy for Looe and Polperro - about 2.5 miles, and the coast is only 1.5 miles away at Talland Bay, a beautiful cove under the care of the National Trust. Set in award winning gardens, the bungalow comprises a combined sitting, dining, kitchen with ultra modern units and all electric oven and ceramic hob, fridge with ice box, extractor fan and microwave. There are two bedrooms, a double & a twin and a modern, fully tiled shower room with shower cubicle, heated towel rail, w.c. and basin. All the bed linen is included but guests are required to bring their own towels. The bungalow has its own clothes airer, washing line, iron and ironing board. Electric night store heating is available throughout plus a convector heater for added comfort. There is a laundry room with automatic washing machine and tumble drier for everyone to use on-site and the heated swimming pool (May to September) is free for all to enjoy. Reserved parking in a numbered space is provided just 50 yards from the bungalow.
Within a few minutes walk at Caradon Camping there is a pub and excellent restaurant serving evening meals and a great carvery on Sunday lunchtimes. The village of Pelynt, about a mile distant, has a large well stocked Spar and Post Office and the the Jubilee Inn is a delighful pub with restaurant attached.
