Listed in the Doomesday Book with over a 1000 years of history, Old Lanwarnick is set in 32 acres of peaceful, unspoilt, ancient countryside only three miles from the beach with beautiful walking, cycling and amazing hacking without roads! The farm is surrounded by hundreds of acres in an area of outstanding natural landscape and it is only three miles to the closest beach (which is a true smugglers haunt) at Lansallos Cove on the South Coast Path. Just a short drive away (5-10 mins) are typical fishing villages such as Polperro, Looe and Fowey which has a Michelin star restaurant and some chic cafes and shops.
The four cottages at Old Lanwarnick enjoy some wonderful facilities on-site. Horse owners are most welcome to bring their horse or pony (free of charge) where it can be accommodated in one of the four newly constructed stables or in our pastures. There are miles of off road hacking to be enjoyed by the novice or experienced rider. Well behaved dogs are also welcomed by prior arrangement - free of charge.
The health suite, available to all, consists of a small, well equipped gym, a sauna and a holistic therapy suite. Massage and reflexology are
available by pre-booking in addition to a range of other treatments. There is also a splendid hot tub complete with underwater lighting and a sound system to be enjoyed by all those over twelve years of age.
Hob Nob has been thoughtfully and tastefully furnished and decorated along the lines of a boutique hotel. The walls are adorned with stunning, original , oil paintings, mostly by Jessica Hill and there are wonderful pieces of sculpture and craft dotted around!
The accommodation includes entrance hall with slate flooring, stone walls, high ceilings(with beams) , WC and a  utility room with washer/dryer. The large living room has stone walls (beamed ceiling open to the eaves) with large, comfortable leather sofas, a French balcony with French windows and great views. There is a 20ft high stand alone central chimney breast housing a fish-tank style wood-burner and 42 LCD satellite TV plus WIFI Internet access. A Playstation 2, board games, DVDs , CDs and books are all supplied. The living room is open plan (separated by the large chimney breast) to a very modern well equipped kitchen/ dining area with a dual fuel range cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washer/drier, larder and granite work surfaces, large dining table and chairs. Access to the garden and patio is via a large glazed door. In the entrance hall the stairs lead down to a spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed and is luxuriously appointed with en-suite shower room. There is another double bedroom(also with a king-size bed) with en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom which is served by a family bathroom with a whirlpool bath (great for relaxing!). Hob Nob has full central heating with radiators/heated towel rails in all rooms.
The cottage has a good sized, fully enclosed garden with a patio area furnished with table, chairs and barbecue. This area can also be accessed via the kitchen/dining area. The private garden has a lawned area and large, raised flower bed with granite chipping paths and stone walls.
