Homehill is one of eight, five star, self-catering holiday cottages in the grounds of the Barclay House Hotel. Each has been specifically created for use as a holiday home and has won a design award for self-catering accommodation. Using local stone and rustic timber the cottage has been positioned to provide a panoramic view over the beautifully maintained gardens to the East Looe river and the glorious countryside beyond. A very peaceful and tranquil spot yet only five minutes walk from the bustling harbour town of Looe with its fish market, restaurants, pubs, shops and beaches.

Available for the use of cottage and hotel guests is a heated outdoor swimming pool which nestles in a sunny corner, terraced above the lawn. The hotel also provides a fitness suite and and sauna and three acres of private woodland, mainly oak coppice, for holiday cottage guests to enjoy.

Guests are also welcome to use the hotel facilities, perhaps a drink from the bar where the hotel staff will be only too happy to help with local knowledge or to make a reservation in the restaurant for dinner which is available on Tuesday to Saturday evenings. Other meals, breakfast and lunch are also available if required.

Homehill has been newly decorated and comprises:
- bedroom with twin beds or king-size bed (as required) and access to a furnished, private balcony
- bathroom with corner jacuzzi bath and walk-in shower also built-in wardrobe
- fully fitted kitchen
- lounge/dining room with access to private patio

There are TVs and telephones in both the lounge and bedroom.
