Sunflowers is situated in a quiet lane in the heart of the ancient fishing port of Looe The large, sandy beach, the bustling harbour, shops, restaurants and pubs are all within a couple of minutes stroll as is the reserved parking space on the seafront. Under new ownership the cottage has been recently (2009) subject to a programme of complete modernisation and now offers contemporary accommodation whilst retaining the character of the period building. The accommodation is arranged on three floors. The main door gives access to a spacious dining room furnished in solid oak and providing for a family of six in comfort. This leads to the modern, fitted kitchen with cooker with double oven and ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washer. The rather steep stairs lead to the first floor where can be found the comfortably furnished sitting room with colour TV, DVD, Video and CD/radio. Also on this level is bedroom 2 which has a small (4ft) double bed probably most suitable for one person and there is also a separate w.c. and basin on this level. Steep stairs lead to the top floor where there is the large, principal bedroom which is arranged as a family room with a double and a single bed, the family bathroom with corner bath/shower over, w.c. and basin and lastly there is the 3rd bedroom arranged as a twin. The cottage is beautifully presented with high quality furnishings and fittings and will prove an ideal base for those wishing to enjoy the delights of old Looe on foot whilst being within easy reach of all that Cornwall offers those on holiday.
