Well Cottage is a stunning barn conversion completed to the highest specification in late 2007. It is situated in 10 acres of farmland in the tiny hamlet of Coombe Farm, close to the bluebell woods around Herodsfoot and the West Looe Valley. Well Cottage is the perfect base from which to explore the fishing villages of Looe and Polperro only 6 miles distant, the wilds of Bodmin Moor and all the places which make Cornwall such an evocative and beloved holiday destination, whatever the season.

If space and comfort, peace and quiet are what you are looking for then Well Cottage is the answer - it has it all. The finish and furnishings throughout are to the highest order of sytle and comfort - no detail has been overlooked in ensuring your stay will be truly memorable. The accommodation is arranged on two levels. Entry is at the upper level and the accommodation here includes the sitting room, kitchen, dining room, cloakroom and shower room. Stairs lead down to the ground floor where the bedroom and fitness suites are situated. The sitting room is a fine space with a cathedral roof, wood burning stove, French doors to patio, flat screen TV with DVD, CD music player with radio and iPod docking station, use of laptop with free internet access and telephone. Comfy leather sofas and attractive fabrics provide a most inviting living space. The kitchen is very large and equipped with everything the discerning cook could require with its range cooker, American style fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker etc. The dining room too is very spacious, furnished with an oak table and brown leather chairs this room will accommodate up to ten in comfort.

The bedroom suites are most attractive, the master having a super king-sized bed, flat screen TV, French doors to the terrace and en-suite, luxury bathroom with bath and shower over. The second bedroom can be configured as required either as a king size double or as a twin and it also has a TV installed. The adjoining bathroom has a walk-in shower and bath. All bathrooms have additional underfloor heating. For the health conscious there is a super fitness suite comprising an air-resistant rowing machine, electrical cross-trainer and large infra-red sauna. 

Immediately outside the cottage there is a furnished patio with ample seating for enjoying meals outside and a gas barbecue. This area provides delightful views of the surrounding countryside with fields and woodlands which you can explore at your leisure. Ample parking space adjoins the terracing.

To enable you to really make the most of your time away a range of other facilities are offered at Well Cottage. A service for the provision of delicious, ready cooked meals delivered to your door is provided by some splendid local chefs. Alternatively, we can arrange for a chef to meet you at the cottage, discuss menu requirements  and then attend at the appointed hour to prepare and serve a splendid celebratory meal. If a little pampering might be tempting our visiting therapist can visit by appointment to provide a wide range of treatments including aromatherapy massage and facials, Hopi candle or hot rock treatments, body wraps, allergy therapy, sugaring and colour consulation. And lastly, if you are of an artistic turn of mind but never seem to find the time to give painting a try why not engage local artist Linda Maynard to get you started in the bright studio available at Coombe Farm
