Summer has arrived

Posted on 19 July

Not long now until the schools break up but there's still time to grab a self-catering holiday in the lovely old Cornish seaside town of Looe. We have taken on several properties in the last few weeks which are new to the holiday market so there's still some availability during the peak weeks. Have a look at Blueview 119; this lovely villa has great views and super outside area for enjoying the sunshine and for meals outside.

Of course this time of the year there are loads of events to entertain the many vistors to Cornwall and Devon. July 29th is the start of Looe carnival week, always lots of fun for adults and children. On the 14/15th of August Plymouth (about half an hour away) hosts its Annual British Fireworks Championships. Located in Plymouth Sound this brilliant competition even brings the ferries to a halt as they pause to allow the passengers to enjoy the fun.

On the 17th of August Liskeard is the venue for a Ploughmans Festival. The streets are are delight for foodies as the farmer's market attracts stall holders from all around. There's live music and street entertainment, all good fun and worth a look. For a full list of all the activities during the summer do have a look at the What's On section of the website.
