Easter is fast approaching

Easter is a great time to visit Cornwall, the days are longer, the temperatures rising and the spring gardens, for which Cornwall is famous, are a delight. Below you will find a selection of events taking place through the month of April where you will be sure to find something to your taste. Furthermore, many of the restaurants and other seasonal businesses that have been busy sprucing up over the winter are ready to reopen and will be sure to give you a warm welcome.
to 8 April | Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt at Cotehele (NT) Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt at Cotehele, March 24th- April 8th between 10 am- 4 pm Admission Charges apply. £2 per trail Bunny has made a puzzle for you around the garden. Pick up a map and follow the clues to point you in the right direction of the chocolate treat that’s waiting for you at the end. |
to 15 April | Easter at Eden Easter at Eden will take place 24th March- 15th April Have you got the Eggs Factor? come along to our Easter Eggstravaganza to find out! There are dozens of activities for the whole family to have a crack at this Easter in our new three week programme. Eggsplore Eden on one of our egg hunts, scramble your way through our assault course and tackle other Easter inspired games. Plus there will be lots of special prizes and treats to enjoy. |

2 - 27 April | Free Garden Tour at Lanhydrock (NT) Free Garden Tour at Lanhydrock between 2nd-27th April daily Tours run daily: 11- 11.30 am and 4- 4.30 pm Volunteer guides lead you around the formal garden on most weekdays, sharing their knowledge and answering your questions. 2 April 1pm - 2pm | Spring Rockpool Watch - Easter Holiday Rockpool Ramble Venue: Hannafore Beach - meet below the Coastguard Station A free event suitable for all ages, no need to book. No nets, please – they can harm delicate rock pool creatures. After surviving the winter, the rock pool community now copes with increased exposure to sunlight and warming waters. 4 April 10am - 12pm | Camellia Walk at Mount Edgcumbe Country Park Cremyl, Torpoint, PL10 1HZ Camellia Walk at Mount Edgcumbe on Weds 4th April between 10 am- 12 noon This is an opportunity to join the Curator of the National Camellia Collection, held by Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, on a conducted tour of the collection that currently numbers approximately 1,000 cultivars. Meeting at Dry Walk Car Park tickets costs £5.00 p.p. Suitable walking shoes and clothing is a must on this outdoor adventure. Booking is essential as minimum numbers are required for this event |
6 April 2.30pm & | Liskerrett Community Cinema – Goodbye Christopher Robin (PG) Liskerrett Community Centre, VArley Lane, Liskeard Suffering PTSD after returning from World War I, playwright A.A. Milne (Domhnall Gleeson) moves his family to the countryside and attempts to write an anti-war book. But while suffering from writer’s block he begins bonding with his young son (Will Tilston) and envisages a story for children instead. Films are shown on the first Friday of the month at 2.30pm and 7.30pm unless otherwise advertised. The matinee screenings are sub-titled.
