About Arches No 1A

This fabulous apartment is newly refurbished throughout and with fantastic sea views, parking, and a balcony this is a great find for late bookers.


The apartment has an open-plan lounge dining area which enjoys the 180 degree views over the river mouth at Looe, up the river, across the beach, all the way to Rame head and around the bay. The dining table is perfectly placed to maximise the views over family meal times. There is a comfortable L-shaped sofa and 55" Smart TV and the property has free wifi. From this room is a small balcony where two can enjoy the comings and goings of the river mouth. Also overlooking the same views is the master bedroom with king size bed and en suite shower room.

To the rear of the property are a second bedroom with twin beds, a third with bunk beds and the family bathroom with bath and shower over. Also down a few steps is the kitchen which is fully fitted with electric oven and grill, gas hob, extractor, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, cafetiere and washer dryer.

Hannafore beach is a two minute walk away and West Looe square is five minutes. There are numerous shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs to enjoy as well as boat trips, boat hire and coastal path walks with the beautiful South West Coastal Path being just a five minute walk from the door. Arches has a reserved parking space and with gas central heating guests can be sure of a comfortable stay all year round.

There is a zig zag, metal stepped path leading down from the parking area, with hand rail. Any guests with limited mobility please read the accessibility statement in the facilities tab.

Arches No 1A can be booked with Arches No 3 and Arches No 1 which can each accommodate 4 guests, meaning parties of up to 14 guests can enjoy holidaying close by whilst retaining their own space and facilities.

Additional suitability notes

There is a gradually sloped, stepped zig-zag path down from the parking area. The steps are not steep and have a handrail. There is a further set of external steps leading down to the door of the apartment and a few steps inside. No smoking and no pets.

We stayed here as a family of four for a week and it was great - lovely spacious house and amazing views of the bay! Would highly recommend to all.

We really enjoyed our stay, the location looking over the ocean was very special indeed. The apartment was clean, warm and comfortable. The location was perfect as we could walk into the town or onto the beach for a play. Lots to do and see in Looe. There were a lot of surfers out and cold water swimmers. Our son enjoyed flying his kite on the beach. We highly recommend the Thai restaurant and the Indian. We had takeaway as easier with kids.

We had a wonderful stay in Looe, it was such a beautiful setting and easy to get to west Looe. The place had everything we needed, was super clean and well presented. Our kids had a great time. We loved Looe, with the cute shops and lots of place to grab a bit of food. We even managed to see some of ‘Beyond Paradise’ being filmed on the beach.

The apartment was very clean with all amenities, nice bathroom and kitchen but the best thing was the view from the main bedroom and from balcony. We would definitely come back.

This is a beautiful and immaculately decorated place with a stunning view, we could not have been happier there. Our hosts also left a greetings card and special treat to mark the family wedding which brought us to Looe - a really thoughtful touch. Absolutely recommend this place!

We LOVED this place! It was fabulous very clean and modern but very cosy! We stayed for our first family holiday with our 3 month old. The kitchen and bathrooms were fully equipped. The views are amazing! We will definitely be coming every year! The only thing I would say is the stairs surrounding the property were more than we expected however stairs are all over Cornwall and we managed it with our baby. LOVED IT!
