About Drifters

Situated in a superb, residential, south facing, seafront location in West Looe, Drifters is a stylishly appointed first floor apartment enjoying wonderful views to the sea, Looe Island and toward Plymouth in the east. The accommodation is very spacious and furnished to a high standard and it has a contemporary theme throughout, complemented by attractive antique items. A 40" flat screen TV with TalkTalk You View recorder with catchup, a DVD player and free Broadband Internet access are available in the sitting room and all bedrooms have radios. There is a splendid sun lounge which provides access via sliding patio doors to a well furnished terrace overlooking attractive private gardens with tall pines and the sea as a backdrop. The accommodation includes a large sitting/dining room with sea views, a double bedroom also with sea views and en-suite bathroom, a further double bedroom and a twin bedroom. There is a large, modern family bathroom in white and a very well equipped kitchen.

Drifters offers exceptional accommodation and will be much enjoyed by guests seeking a high level of comfort in a convenient and most attractive location. All weather tennis courts and lawn bowls are available a few minutes walk away. A leisure centre with heated indoor pool is located at the Hannafore Point Hotel (daily/weekly membership) only a couple of minutes walk away. A ten minute walk will take you to the bustling harbour of West Looe with its many pubs, restaurants, shops and passenger ferry to East Looe and there are small beaches with sandy areas and rock pools just across the road from the accommodation. Garage parking is included and free, on road parking is possible close by.

There is a flight of external steps (approximately 10) up to the apartment door so the property is only suitable for guests who can manage stairs. There is no wheelchair access. Strictly no smoking or pets allowed.

Introduction: Drifters is a 1st floor apartment situated on the level seafront in Hannafore, a residential area of West Looe. There is a range of local shops in West Looe which are about an 8/10 minutes undulating walk with the station approximately half a mile (25/30 minute walk) and bus services also available from the bus stops immediately opposite the property. There are small beaches at Hannafore which are within a 2 minute walk and the East Looe beach and facilities are approximately a 15/20 minutes walk away. Exterior: The property has an allocated garage which is No. 2 at the rear but there is space to park temporarily to unload etc outside Drifters. From the road to access the property there are 10 concrete steps each is 7in (18cm) high and there are handrails available. At the top of the steps 1 pace forward there is a 5in (13cm) step to the entry door. This door is 31.5in (80cm) wide and has a threshold step of 3.25in (8.5cm) into the entrance hall. Living areas: The hall has a tiled floor, the light switch height is 60in (152.5cm), to the left there is a 10.5in (27cm) step and a 9.5in (24cm) step into the utility area. The utility door width is 30.75in (78cm). This room houses the washing machine, tumble dryer, freezer and Hoovers etc. and also has a tiled floor. The hall entry leads to the open plan lounge/ dining area via a part glazed door which is 29in (74cm) wide. The lounge/dining area has laminate wood effect flooring throughout. It has a dining suite and seating for 6, facilities include remote controlled TV and DVD. Light switches are 56in (142.5cm) from the floor. From the lounge area there is a patio door – opens to 35in (89cm) wide - into the sun room which then leads onto the balcony . The sun room glazed door leading to the balcony has an opening of 43in (109cm). There is vinyl flooring to the sun room with seating and full length curtains. Kitchen: The door to the kitchen from the lounge/dining area is 29in (74cm) wide. The kitchen has tiled flooring and the light switches are 55in (140cm) from the floor. Electric sockets that are above the work surface are 9in (23cm) above, and there are also sockets at 45in (114cm) from the floor. Work surface height is 36in (91.5cm). Facilities include Gas cooker and 4 ring hob, microwave, dishwasher, larder fridge and high and low level wall mounted cupboards. The sink/drainer unit has cupboards beneath. The walk-through to the sun room from the kitchen is 47in (119.5cm) wide. Bedrooms: There are 3 bedrooms – two doubles, one en-suite and one twin. From the lounge/ dining area there is a door which is 29.5in (75cm) wide, then 2 paces forward is the door to the third bedroom (double bed). The room is carpeted, electric sockets are 13in (33cm) from the floor and light switches are 57in (145cm) high. The twin bedroom is accessed through a door from the lounge/dining which is 29in (74cm) wide. This bedroom is carpeted and light switches and electric sockets are at same height as the bunk bedroom. The master double bedroom is accessed from the conservatory, door width is 29in (74cm), it is carpeted and has built in a wardrobe. Bathrooms: From the lounge/dining area the first door – 29.5in (75cm) wide - on the right opens into a 1 metre square area where to the right again is the family bathroom. The bathroom door is 29in (74cm) wide, it has a tiled floor and comprises a bath with shower over it, toilet – which is 17in (43cm) high, and a basin. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom which is accessed by a 29in (74cm) door & comprises a bath with shower over it, toilet – height 17in (43cm) and basin. It has a non slip bath surface and grab rails to the bath, and tiled floor. Additional Notes: This property is suitable for mobile adults and children; there is space for the use of a cot if required.
