About Pebbles


This stunning apartment is situated in Downerry, just a two minute walk from the beach and a ten minute drive from the fishing village of Looe. Downderry is the centre of the broad bay which stretches from Rame Head in the East to Looe Island on the West. The quiet village is self contained and includes a Post office/grocery shop, a pub with fabulous views over the Bay, a good restaurant called the Blue Plate and a coffee shop in the square. The village is on a bus service to Plymouth, Liskeard and Looe. The beach at Downderry is fine grey sand with colourful shingle and stretches from about a mile east of Downderry to Seaton in the west and beyond. The beach has a lot of rocky outcrops which makes many many rock pools at low tide. It is a lovely walk along the beach to Seaton where it is clear of rocks, and there is also a café/restaurant right on the beach. There is a beautiful walk from Seaton along the river to Hessenford where there is a good Pub. There are many scenic walks in the area, and the Eden project is within easy reach by car.


Pebbles has been finished to a very high standard, using the best of natural materials and is deceptively spacious. The open plan lounge kitchen diner has lovely sea views and from the lounge is an undercover patio area and enclosed garden. The kitchen is a superb design and fully equipped - a joy for those of you who enjoy cooking! The large double bedroom with king size bed is tastefully furnished and has a fully tiled ensuite bathroom with bath and shower over. There is also a twin bedroom and family wet room. The property also benefits from wifi, freeview TV with an extra TV in the bedroom, wii, hifi, CD and DVD player. There is underfloor heating throughout powered by a geothermic pump ensuring a cosy stay at any time of the year. On-site reserved parking space.

This is the perfect spot for a family holiday, you can enjoy all the wonders of South East Cornwall and return home to a touch of luxury.
