West Quay House 3 In Looe

Introduction: 3 West Quay is a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment in a group of 5 situated in West Looe on the edge of the river/harbour. It has an off road parking space immediately outside which is on a first come first served basis as there is only provision for a total of 4 cars. The nearest long stay pay and display parking is at the Millpool car park which is a 10 minute walk away.  Please see INFO tab for further details.There is also pay to park facilities on the quayside some 2 minutes walk away and some limited free on road parking outside the local shops which is limited to a one hour stay. The local shops of West Looe are less than a 1 minute walk and the East Looe shops are a 15 minute walk away. There is a bus stop at the fire station (1 min), for some of the Looe area services but the main bus stop is a 5/10 minute walk and is located outside the Old Bridge GP surgery. The railway station is a 15 minute walk. The beach in East Looe is a 20 minute walk and the quieter, smaller beaches at Hannafore, West Looe are a 15 minute walk. When the tide permits there is a small boat ferry of 5 minutes duration that operates between East and West Looe and is only a 1 min. walk away. The nearest public telephone is situated at the end of the parade of shops opposite the quayside in West Looe (2 mins). Exterior: To the front of the property there is a small, private courtyard with a fitted bench and a wheelie bin for refuse. This area is paved, and has an entrance gate which is 24in (61cm) in width and has a threshold step of 6in (15cm). 4 paces forward is the apartment entry door which is 31in (79cm) wide and has a threshold step of 1in (2.5cm) Living Areas: Entering into the hall, which has carpet flooring, from the front door 2 paces forward there are 2 stairs each 6.5in(16cm) in height down to the remainder of the hall from which all rooms lead. The light switches throughout the apartment are 53in (135cm) from the floor and the electric sockets are 18in (46cm) from the floor except in the kitchen. The lounge door is 29in (74cm) wide and the lounge/dining room has fitted carpets and seating and dining facilities for 6 people. The two sofas in the lounge are also sofa beds. Other facilities include remote controlled TV, DVD and Video equipment. Kitchen: The door to the kitchen is 28in (71cm) wide and the kitchen has vinyl flooring. There are a range of high and low level wall mounted units and the sink drainer unit has cupboards beneath. Facilities include electric oven and 4 ring hob, washer/dryer, fridge with ice box and microwave oven. The work surface height is 36in (91cm) and the electric sockets are situated 9in (23cm) above the surface. Bedrooms: There are 2 bedrooms one double and one twin. The double bedroom has a door width of 28in (71cm) and the twin room has a door width of 28.5in (72cm). Both bedrooms have carpet flooring. In the twin room the beds are parallel to each other with the beds positioned against the wall with a generous walkway between for access. Bathrooms: The bathroom has a sliding door access from the hall, opening width is 23in (58cm). It comprises a bath with shower over, toilet - 17in (43cm) in height and basin. The bathroom has vinyl flooring. It is a narrow room and there is a space of approx 24in (61cm) width between the bath and the wall. Additional Notes: This accommodation is suitable for mobile adults and children. There is adequate space for the use of a cot if required.
