Lovely property on the rivers edge, short walk from Looe town centre

About Avonbank

Overlooking the East Looe river, Avonbank is a fine property for 6, just a short walk from Looe town centre.

Ground floor accommodation comprises a large kitchen diner with picture window overlooking the river. The kitchen is well equipped including gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, fridge freezer and coffee percolator and there is a utility room with washing machine and tumble drier. Also on the ground floor is the lounge which has patio doors leading out on to the furnished deck overlooking the river. The deck is a good size and has lovely views over the East Looe river, in the Summer months the deck gets the sun from lunch time right through in to the evening so is the perfect spot for al fresco dining. Upstairs are the three bedrooms all of which overlook the river. The master bedroom is a good sized room with en suite shower room, the second bedroom has two single beds and an ensuite with wc and wash hand basin and the third is a bunk room perfect for children. There is a large family bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle.

Avonbank is a short walk from Looe town centre with its many shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs (please note approximately 200 yards at the start of the walk is on the road without pavement). Looe continues to have a small working fishing fleet and so the river bustles with activity of working and pleasure boats alike.The main sandy beach is approximately a 15 minute walk from the house and there are numerous lovely walks in the area. For the not so fine weather days the house is well equipped with 43" smart TV in the lounge with integral DVD, smaller TVs in the kitchen and master bedroom and Alexa. There is a reserved parking space for one car 100 yards from the property.
