About Colona

Colona sits on the hillside in East Looe with wonderful views over the river from the bedroom, lounge and furnished deck. In the Summer months the deck gets the sun from late morning right through into the evening, making it a great spot to sit and watch the activity on the river throughout the day, and with a wood burning stove in the lounge you can cosy up on cooler evenings making this the perfect holiday home all year around.

On the ground floor is the lounge/diner, a welcoming room with large windows, comfortable seating and wood burning stove. To the back of the room is the dining area with table and four chairs. Also on this floor is a fully fitted kitchen which includes electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher and fridge freezer (a washing machine and tumble drier are housed on the first floor). Upstairs is a large, bright, double room with super king size bed which enjoys the wonderful views over the river, a second with zip and link beds which can be arranged as twins or a double, and a modern shower room with large walk in shower. The property has been furnished throughout in a modern style with many welcoming touches that make Colona a real home from home.

Looe town centre is 3 or 4 minutes on foot where there are numerous shops, restaurants, cafes and pubs as well as the working harbour and large sandy beach. Free wifi and bed linen and towels are included in the rental.

For parking there is a large public car park (MIllpool Car Park) over the bridge approximately 10 minutes walk away.  Please see the facilities tab for further details

Outside: Furnished deck to the front of the property overlooking the river. Parking is available in the Millpool car park a 5-10 minute walk from the property. From 1st April to 31st October, a weekly ticket costs approx £40.00 and a monthly pass is less at £28.25, the daily rate is £5.70. From 1st November to 31st March the daily rate is £2.40. Tickets can be purchased over the phone on arrival.

Well after holidaying here last year we couldn't resist coming back and it didn't disappoint. We simply love it here! St. Ives was worth the drive and Looe Island boat trip was fab! Mixed weather, braved storm Ellen, we didn't care - we were in our 'happy place'.
