About Overdale

Overdale is a stylish Victorian property situated on the rivers edge in East Looe just a short stroll from the bustling town centre with its numerous shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs to enjoy. The house has been beautifully decorated throughout maintaining the charm and original character of the building whilst offering complimentary modern furnishings, marrying together the old and new to create a welcoming family space. With a furnished deck overlooking the river and a reserved parking space just across the road Overdale really ticks the boxes for a special holiday home.

Ground floor accommodation comprises an open plan lounge diner, kitchen and utility room. The lounge diner is a fabulous space and whether the doors are thrown open on to the enclosed deck, or you are snuggled up around the fire place, it is wonderful all year round. In the Summer months the sun hits the deck from late morning and stays right through in to the evening; the perfect spot for guests to enjoy the comings and goings on the river throughout the day. A gas BBQ is provided for those who enjoy a bit of outdoor cooking! There is a 50" flat screen smart TV in the lounge plus  DVD player, iPod docking station and free wifi, so plenty to keep the family entertained on damp days too. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes electric oven, 5 ring gas hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer and Dolce Gusto coffee machine. To the rear of the kitchen is a utility with washing machine and tumble drier.

The three bedrooms each have their own unique style and with ample storage, private shower rooms and a TV in each room, all guests can have their own little bit of luxury! On the first floor are the two double bedrooms both en suite, the master bedroom is at the front of the house and so enjoys the same lovely river views as the lounge. A beautiful twin room on the third floor also has use of its own shower room and there is an additional separate wc.

Customer reviews of Overdale

Booking was easy and contact messages were clear and unambiguous. The final information text even included travel advice due to local road closures in Looe. Overdale is conveniently placed on a hill overlooking the river and town and has its own parking space close by. The town centre is a short stroll away and has many excellent pubs and restaurants and a beatiful beach. Although the patio was well equipped with smart furniture and bbq, the windy weather meant that we could not use it. (Shame) We loved the house itself. which was extremely comfortable and homely. The views from the rooms at the front were stunning. We really appreciated the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed home cooked meals in the spacious dining room.. The en-suite bedrooms were beautifully decorated and all of our party slept well. We all agreed that the accommodation was outstanding in every aspect and well exceeded our expectations. Thank you to all concerned. We hope to return in the future.
