About St Georges
Just five miles due east of Looe is the pretty coastal hamlet of Seaton with its large shingle beach. In addition to a pub and a couple of eateries, Seaton is the setting for a most attractive country park which provides cycle and nature trails and beautiful walks by the river through a wooded valley, home to otters, kingfishers and rare butterflies.
Set in an elevated position and enjoying wonderful views to the sea and distant headlands is St. Georges, a fine family home accommodating up to eight guests and offering an unrivalled level of comfort and facility. In addition to the splendid internal accommodation there are numerous outdoor areas designed to make the most of the views and comfortably furnished for outdoor living. Parking for eight cars and space for the storage of bikes or kayaks is also available.
The accommodation is arranged on two floors, the higher level having two en-suite double bedrooms, one with a balcony. The ground floor accommodation includes a king-sized en-suite bedroom with French doors to the patio and a fourth bedroom with up and under bed which can be configured as a single, twin or double. The family bathroom with roll top bath, a main lounge with woodburner, a TV lounge, a fine kitchen dining room and a utility room which provides for the storage of pet and beach/sports gear complete the ground floor accommodation. Throughout the property the furnishings are modern and comfortable and in tune with the coastal setting of the property. A great feature of St. Georges is the extensive outside space. The decked area, the patio and the gravelled terrace all have sitting, lounging or dining furniture from where the fine sea views can be fully appreciated. A charcoal barbecue and fire pit are also available for use by guests. There is also a hot and cold outside shower, handy after a spell on the beach or after swimming. For cooler days the property is well equipped with modern TVs which are enhanced with full SKY sports and cinema packages and WIFI is included.
