The open plan lounge kitchen diner is a beautiful space with high beamed ceiling and windows overlooking the river. Double doors open up so guests can sit and enjoy watching the boats come and go right on their doorstep. The lounge area has comfortable leather sofas, a 32" TV and Bluetooth speaker. The kitchen is well equipped with four ring gas hob, electric oven, extractor, fridge/freezer, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine and washing machine.
The master bedroom with king size double bed is a stylish room which again overlooks the river. There is a lovely twin room at the back of the property and a striking shower room with large walk in shower.
The Salt Loft has gas central heating to ensure a cosy stay all year round.
Looes many shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs are all within a very short walk, as is the beach and with a luxury artisan ice-cream shop below, guests at the Salt Loft will be sure of the full cornish fishing village holiday experience. Looe is an ideal holiday location mostly on the level so suites everyone. Plenty to do if it rains. The salt loft is quite a unique and fantastic location on the riverfront, well equipped and maintained and full of period features. Sympathetic owner and well disciplined letting agency, you cannot go wrong.
Having stayed in various properties in West and East Looe over the course of 14 years, for the last 5 we have stayed at Salt Loft and without doubt this is best property in terms of location and convenience we have stayed in. The River and Harbour views are some of the best in Looe and just standing or sitting on the balcony with the evening sun setting over West Looe, in that moment, drink in hand, there’s no where else we’d rather be. 5 stays and another one booked for next year says it all really!
Despite the weather, we had another great stay at Salt Loft. We got to meet Emma the owner. She is a lovely lady who was very helpful and told us about new restaurants and bars that had opened since we were last in Looe. The location and views are stunning. It’s our favourite place to stay.
The Salt Loft was one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in, warm, modern and extremely well equipped - I have rebooked it for Autumn 2026.
The Salt Loft is the perfect location to stay in Looe. The views of the river are stunning, and being footsteps away from the town itself there is no better place in our opinion. The accommodation itself is always spotlessly clean & very cosy.

The salt loft is probably the best located holiday apartment in Looe. Original architecture full of period features and on the river. Views are to die for and it is in the thick of things. You have your own ice cream parlour downstairs. Very comfortable and well equipped you won’t beat it.
