The delightful town of Looe is easily reached by road and has the added advantage of being served by a pretty branch line connecting at Liskeard with the main London to Penzance line. Local bus services connect to Polperro and outlying villages and the city of Plymouth is also served by regular connections. Liskeard is the nearest point (about 8 miles) for connections with the National Express coach network. Local taxis are plentiful and inexpensive.
BY ROAD
From the western end of the M5 or A303 at Exeter, take the A38 via Plymouth and Saltash direct to Looe.
RAIL SERVICES
There are regular Intercity services from London (Paddington), the Midlands, Northern England and Scotland, stopping at Plymouth and Liskeard. A pretty branch line operates between Liskeard and Looe.
