You can be sure of the warmest of welcomes form Owners Dom and Michelle at The Old Sail Loft. Their head chef Nick and his team prepare delicious locally sourced food in this very popular restaurant in one of the oldest buildings in Looe which dates back over 450 years.

Whilst soaking up the comfy and cosy atmosphere, it’s easy to be transported back to the 1500s when smugglers would frequent this local haunt and the old sailing boats would line the harbour.

Located in the heart of town the Golden Guinea offers a good selection of food ranging from locally caught fish to lighter bites such as sandwiches and jacket potatoes. This old fisherman’s cottage which dates over back 400 years has preserved most of its original features and has a lovely outside area with bar for alfresco dining on a sunny day or a warm evening.
