VISIT ENGLAND GOLD AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE


The Arches sits in a commanding position overlooking the river mouth in Looe. The views from the accommodation extend up the river and across the beach and bay to Rame head in the distance.

The accommodation is accessed from the back of the property on the top floor. The lounge diner is a good size room that is dressed with striking new furniture and the large window makes the most of the incredible views. Down a few steps is the brand new fully fitted kitchen in a beautiful grey, with quartz worktop. Kitchen includes electric oven and 4 ring gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezer, a cafetiere and a Nespresso coffee machine.

The master bedroom with superking size bed also sits at the front of the apartment with the same amazing views, a good size room, again with brand new furnishings. The second bedroom has zip and link beds which can be arranged as twins or a superking double and the internal accommodation is completed by a large family bathroom with bath and separate large shower cubicle, digitially controlled with dual shower head.

There is a private furnished patio area to the rear of the apartment which gets the sun for most of the day and a parking space - a rare luxury in Looe! The property has fibre to property Wifi installed ensuring a high speed connection, there is a 58" smart TV and digitally controlled gas central heating ensuring a cosy stay in the Autumn and Winter months.

Hannafore beach is less than a 5 minute walk from the apartment as is the Island View Cafe (not to be missed!) and accessed at the end of the road is the stunning South West Coastal Path. Again, less than a 5 minute walk in the opposite direction is the Sardine Factory, a fantastic restaurant overlooking the river, plus heritage centre, cafe and climbing wall, well worth a visit during the day. Looe remains a bustling little port with both fishing boats and pleasure craft and there are many shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs to enjoy.

There is a zig zag, metal stepped path leading down from the parking area, with hand rail. Any guests with limited mobility please read the accessibility statement in the facilities tab.

Arches No 3 can be booked with Arches No 1 and Arches No 1A which accommodates 4 guests each, meaning parties of up to 14 guests can enjoy holidaying close by whilst retaining their own space and facilities.

Customer reviews of Arches No 3

The Arches was immaculately clean, well equipped for self-catering, with a selection of board games that came in hand for rainy days. The addition of the Christmas tree added to the homely feel for festive holiday, and a bottle of prosecco to celebrate NYE was a fabulous surprise! The property has excellent views of the Harbour and Sea (and NYE Fireworks!) and is a 20 minute walk from the town centre of Looe. There are fabulous rockpools at West Looe beach which is only 5 minutes walk away (longer to walk back as a steep climb!). Having a parking space was a bonus as so much to do in walking distance for a family with older children. Would definitely return again to such a great property and Helena was a friendly, responsive host!

I cannot begin to say what a pleasure it has been to stay in Arches No 3. But I will try. This not 4* this is 5* , spotless, spacious and so well thought out in everything that would be needed to make a holiday complete. And the view is breathtaking. I have been coming to Looe for 40 years and I am always ready to go home after a week. I really could stay at least another week. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay in Looe. Accommodation was amazing, clean and tidy, comfy bed, great kitchen and the view was beautiful, in all weathers. location was great. short walk to the shops and beach. Lots of nice cafes, shops and pubs all within walking distance. Parking spot right outside, a bit tricky to reverse out of, but manageable. Getting in was easy, and clear instructions given. Will definitely be coming back soon.
