Available from May 2019 this newly renovated apartment sits in a commanding position overlooking Looe river. Modern and tastefully furnished throughout Belmont 5 will appeal to those looking for a little luxury.

Apartment 5 is on the second floor and has stunning 180 degree views of Looe river from the open plan lounge, kitchen, dining area and balcony. In the summer months the balcony gets the sun from late morning right through in to the evening and is the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the views. The fully fitted kitchen includes electric oven, gas hob, extractor, washing machine, dishwasher and fridge/freezer (2/3 fridge and 1/3 freezer).  A comfortable L shaped sofa sits opposite a feature arch window and there is a smart TV with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime via own account.

The master bedroom has a superking size bed and ample clothes storage and a second bedroom has three foot singles which can be arranged as twins or super-king. The modern family bathroom with bath and mixer shower over, WC and wash hand basin completes the accommodation.

Looe harbour retains a small fishing fleet as well as an array of private craft and it is a pleasure to enjoy the comings and going on the river from Belmont. Looes numerous shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs are all within a very short walk and the main beach is 5 minutes on foot.

From 1st April to 31st October, a weekly ticket costs approx £40.00 and a monthly pass is less at £28.25, the daily rate is £5.70. From 1st November to 31st March the daily rate is £2.40. Tickets can be purchased over the phone on arrival.

Additional suitability notes

There are steps leading up to the property and also internal stairs so the property is only suitable for the physically able. Once inside the property is all on one level. Strictly no pets or smoking. Sorry no babies as limited room in bedrooms for a cot.

A beautifully appointed, modern apartment, furnished with care, flair and attention to detail making a really comfortable home from home. Situated in the heart of Looe, with easy access everywhere. No 5 Belmont is opposite the old bridge with a fabulous view for watching boats on the tidal river and enjoying the sunsets.

Great apartment with balcony views over the river and old bridge in the heart of Looe. Beautifully presented property with all mod cons within walking distance of beach, restaurants etc. Will definitely be returning!

We had a week in Belmont 5 the last week of August. Beautiful apartment with quality fittings and furnishings. Ideal location just by the bridge. There are a lot of steps to the entrance and then to the apartment on the 2nd floor, but once you've got your luggage in you can admire the view from the little balcony. Appreciated that the beds where made as twin beds as requested on arrival. My only disappointment was the stairway to the apartment for a such a high standard property the stair case/hallway was not very clean and I'm sure it could have been finished to the standard the apartments are. This did not spoil our week in the slightest but I'm sure the maintenance charge is not cheap and did not feel this area was well maintained.

Modern home from home. What a little gem of a place, that we had the pleasure of spending a weekend in. Spotlessly clean, furnished to a very high standard and had everything you could want in a self catering apartment. The views from the little balcony were stunning and made the weekend extra special, this is definitely a home from home.

Beautiful apartment, great location. Great location overlooking the river and walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants and pubs that Looe has to offer. The apartment has been furnished beautifully and has all the home comforts that you could need. There is a lovely little balcony to sit out on and enjoy a glass of wine whilst watching the world go by. There is no parking but you can pull up to unload and the Mill Pool car park is over the bridge, or as we don't mind walking, we drove up to Hannafore and you can park on the road up there so we did that. We will definitely return when we next visit Looe.

We stayed in Belmont 5 for a week in September. We found it very convenient for all the shops and restaurants. The apartment was spotlessly clean and had all the usual appliances you would have at home. I would recommend you unload your car at the bottom of the stairs, then parking on the car park at the opposite side of the river, just over the bridge. I would also book up restaurants in advance as they book up quickly. The only draw back would be the stairs if you have mobility problems, other than that, fantastic.
