Situated in a wonderful position overlooking the harbour and sea, no 4 Harbourside Apartments offers well appointed accommodation for three. The furnished patio has stunning views over Looe river and is a fabulous place to just sit and enjoy the comings and goings of the boats to and from the harbour. The master bedroom which again overlooks the river has a double bed and a second bedroom has one single, the rooms are complemented by a bathroom and en-suite shower room. The open plan lounge kitchen diner is comfortably furnished and well equipped and from here you access the patio. The property has free wifi for guests and a smart TV so guests with their own netflix account can access films. There is also a Bluray DVD player. Free roadside parking is available about a 6/7 minute walk away with pay parking on the quayside being a short walk away where the shops, pubs and restaurants of West Looe will also be found. There is a large public car park the Millpool approx.10 minutes walk away. Please see INFO tab for further details. The beach at Hannafore is a 6/7 minute walk.
As the apartment block is on the hillside overlooking the river there is a steep walk way up to the building which is not suitable for those with mobility problems.

Introduction: The Harbourside apartment complex is situated between the Hannafore area of Looe and the town of West Looe and is accessed from either Hannafore Lane (at the rear) by foot or by temporarily stopping/unloading a car on the Hannafore Road (on double yellow lines) and thence by foot. Access by this means involves a walk of some 40 paces up a steeply sloping path to a flight of 3 steps (each 6ins – 15cms with handrail), after two more paces there are a further 6 steps (each of 7ins – 18cms) and then a level walk of about 20 paces to the access door to the block at the rear at ground floor level (width 27.5 ins – 70 cms). The complex is arranged over 3 floors and has a slate floor staircase between floors. Number 4 is on the ground floor. From the Hannafore Lane entry door (at the rear of the building 1st floor level), there is a step up of 6in (15cm) to the entry door which is 27.5in (70cm) in width, with a threshold step of 6in (15cm). There are then two paces forward and two steps down of 6in (15cm) height each, it is then four paces to the staircase of 14 stairs down to apartment No. 4, or to the lift to the ground floor. It is 2 paces from the bottom of the stairs/lift door to the front door of No.4. There is a range of local shops and a public telephone in West Looe which is a 2/3 minute walk, hilly on the return. There are small beaches at Hannafore which is a 5 minute walk and the beaches of East Looe are a 20 minute walk. The local buses operate from the fire station at West Looe which is 2/3 minute walk away or a more comprehensive timetable of buses operates from outside the Old Bridge surgery which is a 15 minute walk. The local railway station is a 20 min walk approximately half a mile distant. The nearest free on road parking is at Hannafore a 5 minute walk or there is pay and display parking at the quayside which is a 2/3 minute walk or long stay in the Millpool car park approximately 10 minutes walk away, please see INFO tab for further details. Exterior: There is a private balcony area that is accessed from the lounge. The door is 28in (71cm) wide and has a threshold step of 5in (12cm). There are then 2 steps down which are 6in (15cm) each in height. There is an outdoor table and seating, together with storage facilities for beach games etc There is a step up of 6in (15cm) to access the storage box. The balcony area has a brick base and metal railings Living Areas: The entrance door to the apartment is a fire door and has a width of 27in (69cm) with no threshold step. In the hall, which is carpeted, there is a storage cupboard for ironing equipment, hoover etc and all rooms lead off this main hall. The light switches are 44in (111cm) from the floor and the electric sockets are 17in (43cm) from the floor throughout the apartment. From the hall on the right is the open plan lounge/dining area. This area is carpeted and has remote controlled TV, DVD, Digibox and stereo. There is a drop leaf dining table with chairs stored within to provide dining facilities. Kitchen: From the lounge on the right is the open plan kitchen, it has laminate wood effect flooring and has a dishwasher, washer/dryer, gas cooker with 4 ring gas hob, microwave and built in fridge and freezer. There is a range of high and low wall mounted units and the sink drainer unit has cupboards beneath. The work surface height is 36in (91cm) and the electric sockets are 12in (31cm) above the work surface. Bedrooms: This is a 2 bedroom apartment comprising a double with en-suite and a single bedroom, both rooms are carpeted The entry door to the single room is 32in (81cm) and to the double bedroom the door width is 27.5in (70cm). Bathrooms: From the double room entry to the en-suite shower room is via a door which opens inwards with a width of 27.5in (70cm). It has vinyl flooring and comprises a shower cubicle, toilet – height 17in (43cm) and basin. The shower cubicle has a threshold step of 10in (25cm) into the unit. The main bathroom accessed from the hall has a door width of 30.5in (77cm) and has a bath with mixer shower over it, toilet- height 17in (43cm) and basin. It is fully tiled and has vinyl flooring. The cupboard housing the gas boiler is behind the entry door to the bathroom.
