ACCESS STATEMENT: Rock Towers apartments (12 in total) are situated on the level seafront in Hannafore, a residential area of Looe. Local shops are about a 7/8 minutes undulating walk with the station about a half a mile distant (20/30 minute walk) and bus services are available (and a range of local shops) from the square in West Looe about a 7/8 minute walk. Small beaches are available within a 2/3 minute walk.

The Rock Towers apartment building operates on 3 levels. Access is available from the front and the rear of the building, details below regarding accessibility features. There is a large lift to all levels, or stairs between floors. Parking for each apartment comprises one reserved space suitable for a family car. The spaces for apartments 1 to 8 are across the road (about 10 paces from the approach to the building) at the front of the property with the spaces for apts. 8 to 12 being situated at the rear about 10 paces from the rear entrance. Free on street parking is available in the local area, a 2/3 minute walk away.

Exterior: From the front: - access is via 3 concrete steps leading to a sloped path, then 2 small concrete steps leading to a further 13 concrete steps. On entry to the main doorway there is an 8 in (20cm) step up into the building.

Apt. no.11 is on the third floor and all arranged on one level, the access and parking being from the rear of the property. There are ramps available on request to enable access for the disabled. This apartment is suitable for mobile adults, disabled people with assistance and children. There is space for use of a cot if required.

From the rear: access is via a flat entry path to rear security door, inside there are 2 stairs 7.25in in height (18cm). Entry into the apartment is by the door from the communal hall which is 27in(69cm) wide and opens into a carpeted area which is approximately 1 meter(39cm) square and a second entry door which is also 27in(69cm) wide. In the hall, from which all rooms lead, there is carpet flooring. Open plan carpeted lounge leading to dining area. All internal doors are 29.5in (75cm) wide. The patio doors from the lounge lead out onto the balcony. There are 4 bedrooms, of which one is the master bedroom with ensuite shower room, basin and toilet. The other 3 bedrooms are twin bedded. Bathrooms: The main bathroom consists of whirlpool bath with shower over it. Toilet, bidet, hand basin and vinyl flooring. The heated towel rail is beside the toilet. Additional Notes: On entry to the apartment all rooms lead off the hall the entry telephone and smoke alarm are located there. There is a storage cupboard which houses the ironing board, ramps for external stairs etc.
