Introduction: Rock Towers apartments (12 in total) are situated in an elevated position above the level seafront at Hannafore, a residential area of West Looe. Local shops are about a 7/8 minutes undulating walk with the station about a half a mile distant (20/30 minute walk) and bus services are available from the square in West Looe which is about a 7/8 minute walk. Small beaches are available within a 2/3 minutes walk. The Rock Towers apartment building operates on 3 levels. Access is available from the front and the rear of the building, details below regarding accessibility features. There is a large lift to all levels and stairs between floors. Parking for each apartment comprises one reserved space suitable for a family car. The spaces for apartments 1 to 8 are across the road (about 10 paces from the approach to the building) at the front of the property with spaces for apts. 8 to 12 being situated at the rear about 10 paces from the rear entrance. Free on street parking is available in the local area, a 2/3 minute walk away. Apt. No. 12 is a 3 bedroom apartment situated on the third floor and the accommodation is all arranged on one level, the access being described below. Exterior: From the front: - access is via 3 concrete steps of variable size average 5in (13cm) leading to a sloped path (about 30 paces), then 2 small concrete steps 4in (10cm) leading to a further 13 concrete steps 6in (15cm). On entry to the main doorway there is an 8 in (20cm) step up into the building. From the rear: - access is via a flat entry path to asecurity door, in the hallway at this level there are 2 x 7.25inch (18cm) stairs. Apartment 12 has a balcony which is sea facing and it has garden furniture in place. The balcony is accessed from patio doors in the lounge which have an opening width of 26in (66cm), the depth of the balcony is 59in (150cm) with railings in situ. Living Areas: Entry into the apartment is by the door from the communal hall which is 27in(69cm) wide and opens into a carpeted area which is approximately 1 meter(39cm) square and a second entry door which is also 27in(69cm) wide. In the hall, from which all rooms lead, there is carpet flooring and the electric sockets are 9in (23cm) from the floor. The light switches throughout the apartment are 52in (132cm) high. All internal doors have a width of 28in (71cm). The lounge facilities include TV, Video and DVD equipment and there is seating and dining for 6 guests. The electric sockets are 6in (15cm) from the floor. Kitchen: The kitchen has vinyl flooring and there are high and low level wall mounted units in place. The sink drainer unit has cupboards beneath. Facilities include washing machine, electric oven and 4 ring hob, fridge and microwave oven. The work surface height is 36.5in (93cm) and the electric sockets are 6in (15cm) above the surface. Bedrooms: There are 3 bedrooms, one double with en-suite shower room and two twin bedrooms. All have carpet flooring. In the first twin room the beds are arranged parallel to each other and against the wall with a restricted width of 9in (23cm) between the beds. The second twin room has generous space between the beds, however at the foot of the bed the space between the end of the bed and the wall is restricted to about 18 inches. Electric sockets in the twin rooms are 8in (20cm) from the floor and in the double room they are 6in (15cm). Bathrooms: There is a family bathroom and an en-suite shower room to the double bedroom. The family bathroom has 2 hand basins, a shower cubicle, large whirlpool bath, bidet and toilet – height 16in (41cm). There is carpet flooring. The shower cubicle has a threshold step in of 10in (25cm) and an opening width of 20in (51cm) there is a sloping back to the shower restricting the internal width. The en-suite has a shower cubicle basin and toilet – height 16in (41cm), carpet flooring. The shower cubicle has a threshold step in of 10in (25cm) and a door width of 20in (51cm). Additional Notes: This apartment is suitable for mobile adults, and children. There is space for use of a cot if required.
