About Salt Loft

Brilliantly located on the waters edge in the heart of Looe, with fabulous views, the Salt Loft is an absolute gem. It has a stunning interior offering comfortable accommodation for four.

The open plan lounge kitchen diner is a beautiful space with high beamed ceiling and windows overlooking the river. Double doors open up so guests can sit and enjoy watching the boats come and go right on their doorstep. The lounge area has comfortable leather sofas, a 32" TV, a CD player and radio. The kitchen is well equipped with four ring gas hob, electric oven, extractor, fridge/freezer, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine and washing machine.

The master bedroom with king size double bed is a stylish room which again overlooks the river. There is a lovely twin room at the back of the property and a striking shower room with large walk in shower. 

The Salt Loft has gas central heating to ensure a cosy stay all year round.

Looes many shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs are all within a very short walk, as is the beach and with Robbies luxury artisan icecream shop below, guests at the Salt Loft will be sure of the full cornish fishing village holiday experience. Parking is available in a large public car park the Millpool a 5-10 minute walk from the property.  Please see the facilities tab for further details and accessibility.

Bedrooms: One double with king size bed, one twin room.

Bathrooms: Shower room with large walk in shower (mixer)

Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen with gas hob, extractor, electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, washing machine and tassimo coffee machine.

General: Gas central heating. Bed linen and towels are provided but guests will need to bring towels for the beach. Hairdryer provided.

Dining: Dining table and four chairs.

Entertainment: Wifi, 32" flat screen TV, CD player, radio.

Outside: There is a small area at the top of the access steps where guests can have a chair overlooking the river. Parking is available in the Millpool car park a 5-10 minute walk from the property. From 1st April to 31st October, a weekly ticket costs approx £40.00 and a monthly pass is less at £28.25, the daily rate is £5.70. From 1st November to 31st March the daily rate is £2.40. Tickets can be purchased over the phone on arrival.

Salt Loft was really well equipped (I had packed far to much), and was clean airy and bright. We love the location, right on the harbour, which enabled us to do crabbing on our doorstep, take a walk to the beach (a couple of minutes away) and take beautiful costal walks without driving. Shops, restaurants and takeaways are all around you, but with views of the harbour from the window, it doesn't really feel like it. We were slightly concerned about late night/early morning noise before we went but it didn't bother us much at all. We would love to stay again.
