I always dreamed of having my morning tea with sea views. This dream came true. Thank you very much.Claudia and Karsten - November 2025
We had a wonderful time in Hideaway. The accommodation was very bright thanks to the many windows. We particularly liked the view of the countryside and the sea. The apartment was absolutely quiet. There was nothing missing in the equipment. The wooden floor in the living room and kitchen/ bathroom was very pleasant. The tapas restaurant nearby is highly recommended. In 5 minutes you are already at the beautiful Downderry Beach and can walk for hours.Yvonne - October 2025
Beautiful location and lovely accommodation with a view of the sea. Very cozy, felt right at home.Lauren - September 2025
We had a fantastic stay at this apartment in Downderry. The location was amazing, with everything close by including Looe, Liskaerd, Seaton and St Austell. The hosts were brilliant - friendly, responsive, and made the whole process seamless. The check-in instructions were clear and straightforward, and the apartment itself had everything you could possibly need and more. We would recommend bringing a few more kitchen utensils and pots if you are staying longer than 3 days - but for a short stay the apartment is well equipped. Parking was really easy, which made things even more convenient. Overall, we’d highly recommend staying here and would definitely book again in the future!!Daniel Rai - September 2025

The Hideaway was a great place that was in a great location. Village was lovely. Had to drive for amenities which was the only downside.Angela Pettengell - August 2025
We had a beautiful stay in your cosy Hideaway. The village is lovely and food at the Inn and Store was great. Really friendly people too. It was a great base to explore Cornwall. We went to Looe, Polperro & Padstow, all within great distance and times. Swam in the sea here in Downderry and there was no-one on the beach. We would fully recommend a stay here.Angie & Ian - August 2025
