About Rosemary Cottage
Situated in quiet, landscaped gardens yet only five minute walk to two beaches, Rosemary Cottage offers excellent accommodation for up to five people. The owners are constantly updating the property and further upgrades have taken place over this winter. The accommodation is arranged over two floors. The main door leads through a porch area (useful for the storage of outside clothing etc) into the large lounge/dining room. This room has a feature stone fireplace, a large LCD TV with Freeview and DVD, plus a games console (Wii) and iPod/Mp3 docking/music station as well as wifi access. There is a dining area with seating for 5. This room leads on to the fully fitted kitchen, equipped with an electric oven and hob, fridge, microwave, washing machine, and drier.
On the first floor, there are three lovely bedrooms, a double, a twin and the last a single room. The bathroom is situated here and includes a bath with shower over, w.c. and basin.
From the rear garden there are pleasant views to the sea and there are two beaches immediately available only a 5 minute walk away. The rear garden is decked at several levels and provides a quiet spot to sit and enjoy the views and perhaps a barbecue. Parking is available for one car in a private car park 25 yards from the cottage.
Rosemary Cottage is a perfect base for a Cornish holiday close to the sea. The town of Looe can be reached in about twenty minutes via the coastal footpath or in five minutes by car. The property has been renovated with real flair retaining the best of the old whilst introducing modern touches and up to date amenities.

Introduction: Rosemary Cottage is situated in the Plaidy area of East Looe. It is a terraced property with gardens to the front and rear. There is an allocated parking space for one car in the car park near to the cottages, and there are 23 concrete steps (varying sizes) from the car park down to the entrance to the garden path to Rosemary cottage. It is possible to park temporarily at the level of the cottage where the garden path commences to unload. Plaidy Beach is about a 5/7 minute moderately downhill walk & Millendreath beach is also 5/7 minutes walk but down many (50+) uneven and steep steps. East Looe beach is a 3 mile car journey or 25 minute walk via the coastal path, very steep hill on the return walk. The nearest bus stop is at the Barbican shops/school area which is approx 1 mile from the property and a hilly walk of some 20 minutes. The railway station is a 3 mile car journey and situated in Looe town. This cottage is suitable for mobile adults and children. There is room for the use of a cot if required. Exterior: The front garden is laid to grass lawn with garden furniture available for outside seating. The garden path (about 15 paces) leads to a main front door and there is a 8in (20cm) step at the beginning of the path. The front door (width 30ins - 66cms), threshold about 4ins - 10cm) gives access to a small internal hall (about 1 meter 39 ins, square) which is shared with the adjacent cottage. The door to Rosemary cottage on the right, width – 30in (76cm) The rear garden is accessible via the kitchen door and there is a step down to the path that runs along the back of the cottages; there are 4 concrete steps which are 9in (22cm) high, up to the split level grass areas. These levels are situated on a slope & the rotary washing line is sited here Living Areas: The main front door to the cottage opens into an open plan lounge and dining area. It has laminate wood effect flooring. The TV, DVD, skybox and video are remote controlled. The electric sockets are 13in (33cm) from floor level and the light switches are 55in (140cm) from the floor to top of the switch. There is an under the stairs storage area separated from the room by a beaded curtain housing the hoover, ironing board etc. The dining area, which has a table & seating for 6, leads through a glazed door (width 28cms) to the kitchen. The stairs to the first floor lead off the lounge, there are 13 stairs (with one right angle turn) which are 7in (17cm) in height and there is a hand rail fitted to the wall. Kitchen: The doorway to the kitchen in 28in (71cm) wide. The kitchen has slate effect tiles to the floor. To the right in the kitchen there are low and higher-level wall mounted cupboards and work surface to surrounds. Work surface height is 35.5in (90cm). The sink/drainer unit has a cupboard underneath built in. Facilities include electric cooker with hob, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. To the left in the kitchen is a breakfast eating area/table (seating for 4) and also a washing machine and tumble dryer. Electric sockets are located 16in (41cm) above the work surfaces and the light switches are 51.5in (131cm) from floor to top of the switch. The back door (width 27cms) leads out to the rear garden and there is step up of 3in (7.5cm) and a step down of 12in (31cm) depth. Bedrooms: This is a 3 bedroom property comprising: master bedroom, twin bedroom and single. All bedrooms are carpeted. The light switches in all bedrooms are 55in (140cm) from the floor to top of switch and all sockets are 14.5in (37cm) from the floor. Bathrooms: The family bathroom has laminated wood effect flooring. It has a bath with shower over it, hand basin and toilet. Additional Notes: This property has electric night storage heaters and double glazed windows.
