This lovely cottage has been thoughtfully equipped so guests can be assured of the most comfortable stay. The lounge diner is attractively furnished and has patio doors which open out on to the patio area with lovely views. A few steps lead from the lounge/dining area to the fully fitted kitchen with electric oven, ceramic hob, extractor, fridge, dishwasher, freezer, microwave, washer drier and coffee maker. Upstairs is the double bedroom with king size bed, ample storage, 40" TV and furnished balcony overlooking the East Looe river and fields beyond. The spacious en suite bathroom has a wonderful roll top bath and separate shower cubicle. The property has parking and wifi and Looe town centre with its bustling harbour, numerous shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants is a 5 - 10 minute walk (please see accessibility statement or contact us for full details). Guests can be sure of a perfect stay all year round in this little gem of a property.
Rumsdale welcomes one small, well behaved dog.

The location of Rumsdale cottage is quite unique being set upon a hill with wonderful views overlooking the East Looe River and sea inlet.
The cottage is one of eight developed around Bellevue Manor.
The access from the road to the cottage is via a steep driveway which should be taken in a low gear. There is a sharp bend in the road halfway up the track. This then leads to a flat, lit car parking area designated for one vehicle.
The cottage is then approached by a lit walkway and then a short flight of steps leading to a patio area. The main door gives access to the lounge and from here there is a short flight of stairs (approx 6) to the kitchen area.
Another small flight of stairs (approx 6) leads to the bedroom and en-suite bathroom.
Externally there are approx 50 steps leading to Bellevue Manor driveway which joins “Johns Way“ ; this is a private footpath leading to the town centre a 10-minute walk away. Please note there is a short section of the walk which is on a busy main road with no pavement.

Me and my husband loved our stay at the rumsdale luxury cottage. We loved sitting with a drink on the balcony watching the sun set and looking out to the view. The cottage had everything you need with extra touches like the beach towels and robes, head light for walking back in the evening. Really stunning area too. And very private. Would highly recommend staying here. We took our dog, and love long walks so we walked to hannafore beach most days and went to Kilminorth woodland walk with him really great place for dogs. Would also highly recommend The smugglers cott for sea food.
Really enjoyed my stay. Lovely views from the patio and bedroom balcony. Looe town centre and beach is only a few minutes walk away. Likewise the local train station. Cottage had all the amenities I needed...very comfortable bed! Great bathroom with a lovely shower. Would love to stay here again.
Property was immaculate and very comfortable. The views from the balcony were beautiful. We had a fantastic week staying here and visiting the surrounding areas. Parking was good as there are designated spaces for each cottage, even though you have to navigate a very steep road with a hairpin bend to get to it! We took our dog with us and she loved it. I would thoroughly recommend staying here and would definitely visit again in the future.
A lovely little property ,beautifully furnished and well maintained. Everything was provided with super little touches of a welcome pack and toiletries.

Great place to stay.
It was a lovely little home from home in a stunning setting with exceptional views. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and had lovely attention to detail.
We had a great stay at Rumsdale. The cottage had everything we could ask for. Perfect views across the estuary in Looe. We would highly recommend this cottage. Thank you.
We were very impressed with the cleanliness of Rumsdale and the standard of decor. There was everything you could possibly need in the cottage and more besides. It was a 15 minute walk into Looe and 20 minute walk back! There is a small stretch of road without a pavement but if you cross over the road and face oncoming traffic it is not a problem. The bed was extremely comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. We enjoyed sitting on the patio in the evenings with a gin and tonic, watching the sun set. We would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.
