About Beech House

VISIT ENGLAND GOLD AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE

Beech House is an exceptional property set in a peaceful spot with picturesque views of the surrounding woodlands in West Looe. Accommodating up to seven guests in four thoughtfully designed bedrooms, this elegant home is an ideal base for families and groups. Just a short 15-minute walk from the centre of Looe, guests can easily explore the town's charming shops, vibrant harbour, and delightful eateries.

Spacious and Inviting Living Areas

Arranged over three floors, Beech House offers a blend of comfort and style. Entry is through the well-equipped kitchen on the ground floor, featuring modern amenities for an enjoyable self-catering stay. Off the kitchen, a utility room houses a large American-style fridge freezer, washing machine, and a convenient wet room, perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach. Ample storage outside accommodates bikes, kayaks, and beach essentials. The lounge, with its high ceilings and wood-burning stove, is a cosy retreat for autumn and winter evenings. An open archway connects the lounge to the dining area, where a table with seating for seven invites guests to gather for meals.

Comfortable Bedrooms with Woodland Views

The first floor hosts three inviting bedrooms: two double rooms with woodland views and a single with fitted wardrobes. A family bathroom with both a bath and a large separate shower offers ample space for everyone. The second floor opens to the expansive master suite, a tranquil retreat in the eaves with a king-size bed, woodland views, an ensuite shower room, and comfortable seating for two—perfect for unwinding in peace.

Outdoor Spaces and Year-Round Comfort

Beech House features a sunlit, furnished terrace that enjoys afternoon and evening sun during the summer, ideal for outdoor relaxation or dining. A small, enclosed garden with mature shrubs adds to the home’s charm. A reserved parking space with an electric vehicle charger is provided at the rear of the building, though the stone steps down to the entry make this property best suited for older children and adults.

For larger groups or additional vehicles, parking is also available at Millpool car park, just a short walk from the property.

Beech House offers an elegant and comfortable stay in all seasons, with the tranquil beauty of West Looe’s woodlands and easy access to the coastal charm of Looe.
