About Sarnia

Sarnia is a beautiful coastal house situated on the aptly named Bay View Road – and it certainly lives up to its name, boasting stunning panoramic views across Looe Bay.

Sleeping up to eight guests, this spacious and beautifully presented house has recently been refreshed throughout with stylish updates including newly decorated interiors, an updated kitchen, a brand-new ensuite shower room and an impressive new split-level composite decking area designed to make the most of those spectacular sea views.

The generous ground floor living accommodation offers plenty of space for families and groups to relax together. The modern fitted kitchen has recently been updated and includes a gas oven and hob, dishwasher, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, fridge/freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. The attractive lounge area offers comfortable seating, a 50" Smart TV and Sky box with Sky Sports, whilst the conservatory enjoys wonderful views over the bay. The spacious dining area features new French doors opening directly onto the beautiful split-level decking, seamlessly connecting indoor and outdoor living and creating the perfect space for al fresco dining or simply soaking up the coastal scenery. A shower room completes the ground floor accommodation.

Upstairs you will find the spacious master bedroom with king size bed, dressing area and newly fitted ensuite shower room, a second king size bedroom, two twin bedrooms and the family bathroom with bath and shower over. All bedrooms are generously proportioned, offering ample storage and TVs.

Outside, the newly created split-level decking enjoys sunshine throughout the day and provides multiple seating areas from which to enjoy the ever-changing sea views, watch fishing boats and pleasure craft come and go, or simply unwind with a morning coffee or evening drink. The property also benefits from new outdoor furniture, making this a truly special space to enjoy throughout your stay.

Plaidy beach is within a five-minute walk, whilst the spectacular South West Coast Path can be accessed just a short stroll from the house. Head east to discover Black Rock beach, around a 10–15 minute walk away, or venture west towards Looe town where you can enjoy the large sandy beach, working harbour, cafés, restaurants, shops and pubs. The walk down into town takes around 10 minutes, though the return journey is a little longer due to the hill.

With gas central heating throughout, Sarnia offers comfortable accommodation all year round, and there is parking for two cars on the private road outside.

Customer reviews of Sarnia

We really enjoyed returning to Looe. We now live in New Zealand and this was an opportunity to revisit Looe with our family to celebrate a big birthday. House is fantastic. Storm Bert did its best to be challenging but didn't prevent us having a good time.

Lyn - November 2024

This is our second holiday at Sarnia, perfect property with stunning views very comfortable rooms, bathrooms living area and a bonus of a small room on the front. We didn’t want to leave which speaks for itself. Would not hesitate to book this property again.

The house was very well maintained. Fantastic location with great sea views. It had everything one could ask for, for a week’s stay. A dining area which was the heart of the house, very nice lounge and welcoming bedrooms. The agents were excellent at communicating and sharing information. Highly recommend a stay here to recharge your batteries.
