Siang Talay offers spacious accommodation and lovely sea views, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The main Looe beach is only a ten-minute walk via the coastal path and Plaidy beach - pictured below - is only five minutes away. On the ground floor, there is a large open plan kitchen/dining room/sitting room, a twin bedroom, a family bathroom & separate W.C. The living space is very large and French windows lead to an extensive terrace with glass and stainless steel railings and from thence to the gardens which are mainly laid to lawns with shrubbery borders. The views from the terrace and both levels of the property are superb. The kitchen is ultra-modern and finished in high gloss units. The lounge area also has a feature wood burning stove fitted in a central column.
Upstairs there are two large double bedrooms with Juliet balconies and luxury en-suite shower rooms. The accommodation is to a very high standard with attention being paid to every detail. The delightful garden with large patio area and lovely views make this a perfect spot for a coastal holiday. Sadly no children under 16 years of age.

Introduction: Siang Talay is a detached family house situated in the Plaidy area of East Looe. It has a low level garage entrance (unsuitable for 4x4 vehicles) and one off road parking space. There is ample on road free parking in the road outside the property and in the adjoining roads. The nearest long stay pay and display parking is in the town of Looe at the Mill pool car park which 10/15 minutes by car. The Looe railway station is approx 2.5 – 3 miles by car. The local Looe bus services operate from a bus stop near the Spar shop on Barbican Road which is a 3/5 minute walk from the property. The nearest public telephone is at the Barbican public house approx 7 minute walk away. Plaidy beach is a 5/7 minute walk and the beaches of East Looe are a 20/25 minute walk, hilly in places. Exterior: There are 2 entrance doors to the property the rear door is the most frequently used as it is nearest to the garage and parking. The access to the front of the property is via a gate with a width of 32in (81cm) and a threshold step of 4in (10cm). There is a slate path with 15 paces leading to the front door. The front door is 24in (61cm) wide and gives access to a porch which has slate flooring. Access from the garage to the back door is via a slate path and 6 steps which are 5in (13cm) each in height. The back door is 28in (71cm) wide with a threshold step of 3in (7cm). From the door in the dining room there is a threshold step down of 5in (13cm) onto a step of 7in (18cm) onto the slate paved patio area. There are 8 steps from the patio on to the grassed area of garden, these are each 5.5in (14cm) in height. There is garden furniture available for the use of guests. Living Areas: The back door accesses the kitchen/diner. From the kitchen there is walkthrough to the dining room which is 29in (74cm) wide. The dining room has carpet flooring and dining suite. The electric sockets in the dining room are 43in (109cm) from the floor. There is a door to the garden from this room which is 27in (68cm) with a threshold step of 6in (15cm) down onto the patio. There is a sliding door to the lounge which is 43in (109cm) wide with no threshold step. The lounge also has access from the hall via a door which is 31in (79cm) wide. The lounge facilities include remote controlled TV, DVD and Video equipment and it has carpet flooring. The hall is accessed from the front door via a porch & has a door of width 30in (76cm). In the hall the light switches are 56in (132cm) in height and the electric sockets area 9in (23cm) high. The stairs to the first floor ascend from the hall with a left angle turn & are carpeted. There are 15 stairs each 6in (15cm) in height, with a handrail in place, and a width of 26in (66cm). The light switches in the lounge are 52in (132cm) in height. Kitchen: The kitchen has carpet tile flooring and a range of high and low level fitted units. The sink drainer has cupboards beneath. Facilities include built in electric double oven and integrated 4 ring hob. There is a built-in fridge and freezer. There is also a dishwasher and washing machine. The light switch is 52in (132cm) in height and the sockets are 10in (25cm) above the work surface. The work surface height is 35.5in (90cm). There is a restricted space of 21in (53cm) between the edges of two work surfaces near to the back door. Bedrooms: There are 3 bedrooms, a twin bedroom on the ground floor and 2 double bedrooms on the first floor. All bedrooms have carpet flooring. In the twin room the entry door is 28in (71cm), one bed is positioned against the wall and one bed has access to both sides. The space between the beds is 22in (56cm) the light switch is 51in (130cm) and the electric sockets are 4in (10cm) high. The 2 double rooms have entry door width of 28in (71cm), the light switches are 52in (132cm) in height and the electric sockets are 4in (10cm) from the floor. Both double beds may be accessed from each side. Bathrooms: There is a bathroom with separate toilet on the ground floor and a shower room on the first floor. The door to the bathroom from the hall is 22in (56cm) wide it has laminate wood effect flooring, there is a bath, basin and heated towel rail. The separate toilet – height is 17in (43cm) is adjacent to the bathroom the entry door is also 22in (56cm) wide and the flooring is the same as the bathroom. On the first floor there is a shower room which has a shower cubicle & toilet – height15.5in (39cm). There is a restricted width to the shower of 17in (43cm) & the threshold step up into the cubicle is 7in (17cm). There flooring is wood laminate. Additional Notes: This accommodation is suitable for mobile adults and children over 16 years over age. It is also suitable for disabled guests with assistance and those with limited mobility if the access steps are not an issue.
