The open-plan lounge, kitchen, and dining area has ample seating for four, a dining table, and a fully equipped kitchen including an electric oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, and microwave. Patio doors lead out to a large decked area where guests can enjoy spectacular views over Millendreath Valley and beach.

The main bedroom features a standard double bed, built-in storage, and views of the deck and surrounding countryside. A second bedroom includes bunk beds, ideal for children. The modern family bathroom has a bath with an electric shower overhead, and all bed linen and towels are provided for your convenience.

Driftwood Villa is perfectly positioned for beach lovers and outdoor enthusiasts with the beach just a two-minute walk away. This large, flat sandy beach is popular with families and offers stand-up paddleboard and kayak rentals during the summer months. At low tide, for the more adventurous, it is possible to walk along the beach into Looe (do check the tides!). Alternatively, the scenic coastal path takes about 30 minutes on foot, or it’s a five-minute drive. Looe boasts a vibrant mix of shops, cafes, restaurants, and pubs, alongside its charming working harbour.

Parking is available via the on-site pay-and-display machine or the JustPark app, with a weekly charge of £20.

Really enjoyed our stay, the place was lovely and quiet, had a great view of the side of the mountain and the sea in the distance. Locals are really friendly and welcoming, our host was very polite and responsive when we had any minor issues. It’s a very short walk away from the private beach and the views are gorgeous. A short drive from the local town centre and a local farm where we got loads of locally sourced produce like scrumpy and honey. Really happy with our stay, the house was immaculately cleaned and amenities were great. Thank you to Helena and Joseph for this little gem.

What an amazing place to stay, the room was super clean and the view is brilliant. Great to be able to walk down to the beach bar and bistro although the bistro is pretty limited as it is new. The walk the Looe is very nice but there are quite a few steps and steep hills. We drove to a few other beaches, Whitsands is a must, only 20 min drive. We could not have asked for anymore, definitely recommend and good value!
