Looe is a beautiful coastal town in Cornwall, England, known for its picturesque harbour, sandy beaches, and charming narrow streets. When it comes to car parking in Looe, here’s some information you might find useful: Blue Badge holders may also find additional parking conveniences in Looe.

Car parking is at a premium in Looe, many of the holiday properties that we let out have parking available outside of the property. For those where there is not a facility to park directly outside the property, some will have a reserved parking space in a local car park a short walk from the property available for guests to use. (You will have to display a pass in your car, which will be found along with full instructions when you arrive). You can usually stop outside or close to the property for unloading and to collect the pass.

If there is no parking included or you are simply taking a day trip into Looe, there are various options available to you, including the largest car park, the Millpool Car Park in West Looe, which offers a guaranteed parking space with its 964 spaces.

Street Parking in East Looe

There are limited street parking options available throughout Looe near the town centre, but these spaces can be competitive, especially during peak times. Make sure to check signage for any parking restrictions or time limits.

Notably, the Millpool operates as a pay on exit car park, allowing visitors to conveniently pay upon leaving, which simplifies the parking process for those staying longer.

These car parks can fill up quickly, especially during the peak tourist season. Additionally, there's a smaller car park situated between the surgery and a petrol station on the A387 in Looe, which tends to fill up quickly during busier months, offering a strategic choice for visitors.
